I received the tank today, so here is a shot of it being set up. The rock and the sandbed are in the tank plus half the water. Just waiting for it to clear so the aquascaping can be done.

The tank was built by Gary who builds the tanks for Ocean Aquarium. It may have cost a little more, but then I like new glass.

The dimensions are 48"X18"HX20"W. The front pane is starfire glass. :multi:

Here's a quick shot after the aquascaping was completed. It is still a bit hazy, so I will take another when it is clear.

Definitely NOT

How much rock are you goign to put into the tank?

As much as I can. I got some Tufa from Ross that I will use as base. Then as much real rock as I can gather up.

Are you taking all your tanks down and put everything into this one.

mike

I was going to swap some fish that are in my 33G semicube with the new one. Then I was going to run the 33 as a FOWLR. However, I am going to leave it for now because it is doing very well. When someone takes the Flagfin I will take the 20H that is upstairs down. I really want the rock that is in that tank

More pics when it is done. :crazyeye:

Just think of all the zoos you could keep in it!!
I'm kinda curious about the stand, wouldn't it be a little top heavy? Can't wait to see the finished product.

Well the Jim, the builder of the stand (Ross) in whom I put complete faith, assures me there will be no problem. I can shake the stand, and there is absolutely no movement. It is all done, and with just a little clearing left, I will soon take a new piture. :multi:

Would you believe one of each. . The one on the right is a 620, it is nicely supplemented by the return of a Fluval 304.

Here is a shot of the same tank three months later. It is still skimmerless, and sumpless
