WTB: Skimmer and arragonite

I'm setting up my reef and I need a skimmer for my 75 gallon as well as arragonite for my substrate. I am in Vancouver, and would prefer to deal with someone locally. I'm looking for something good, like a Berlin or Turbofloater 1000. Let me know if you have anything. does anyone know where to get arragonite locally for cheap? Anywhere to get Southdown playsand locally? Thanks.

Hey Gord, sorry I can't help you with your purchases, but just wanted to say welcome to the board and glad you took my advice from the newsgroup and came to check this place out. It's a great resource for reefkeepers and has a great group of local crazies to answer most of your questions.

And keep us posted on how your new life sentence (the reef tank) goes! :D

I don't know about out there, but a couple of reefers in both Calgary and Edmonton have pallet quantities of Aragonite, privately labelled for Saltwater Connection. It's pretty cheap, I think Jayson could put you in touch with someone.
