Here is a pic of the "new" tank, which also happens to be my old tank. The rock is a week old and curing nicely. Daily water changes to keep the NH3 down, Euroreef in tank to remove nasties.
My favorite part of this "downgrade" is not needig a ladder to get in my tank!!

Thanks all. I took me a whole summer to build the stupid thing!!
Jamie, any idea where I can get some nice frags to seed it with?
Christy, what's this talk about a sump? These skimmers go in sumps? Hmm, that'll look better than in tank, I guess. (Sump is still being re-baffled to suit my needs, it's a 33g, so not much room.)

Brad,
The tank looks good... I like the canopy and stand. Going without a sump or sand bed heh? Maybe you'll start a new trend!
I like the aquascaping too..
Hi Brad, it may take you the summer to build it, but the spring to fill it. Regards Ken

I have preyed to the reef god's for ya Brad!
I'm sure I could donate a few sps frags, I have purpletip bottlebrush growing like mad and I'm sure you would like some of that bright green acro back too
 Hey! maybe Tony should move this post to the newbie forum

Rich, that isn't funny, I actually find myself asking beginner questions again!! And since I haven't had a tank running properly for so long, I guess I am a newbie!!!!
I think I have lots of frags, I just need to find them. They're all visiting friends right now, but by May or June, it should be SPS ready. Maybe sooner!

Looks good Brad. I guess my tank's going to have more room soon to grow  Should I start fragging?

Should I start fragging?
Nah, not yet. It's probably going to be a couple of months anyway before it's stable enough to restock with acros. I still have 2 colonies here, so once they start growing in the new tank, I'll be dropping by!

Ya, there are two large pieces from the 155 that I wanted to keep, so I bleached them and threw them in with the curing rock so it gets seeded.

Just don't put any livestock in with the Euro in there.....that is when I discovered the major voltage leakage from the pumps. Sump is one thing, tank quite another.

So... are you gonna create a thread in the tank spec area to let us know your plans for this bad boy?

I think I have thread there already, have to check. Just change the box size and it's the same

Oh really? so you are gonna use all the same equip but just down size the tank itself?
Hehe, I like the idea!

Ya, pretty much. I downsized the skimmer and I'll only run 2 400w instead of 3, but the rest will be the same.

Mostly SPS. I have 2 croceas and a maxima that will move over. I'll try to add a large hammer for my clowns, as long as the current isn't too much for LPS.
I haven't decided what to do with the bottom yet.

Brad:
Will you be running a Calcium Reactor with this tank or using a 2 part additive or Liquid Reactor or something?

Wayne, I have a large Ca reactor that I'll be using. If I didn't, I'd use the 2 part for adjustments and kalk for maintaining levels.

Rich, I'm not sure how many frags I'm gonna be able to fit in here. I'm also kinda concerned with the scroll,,,,,it will take up a lot of landscape, assuming it's still around. It's being tank sat right now, so not sure if it really recovered or not. I may have to chop it down a size or 3.
\I'm thinking 10-12 acros, 2 or 3 caps and some misc pieces will fill it nicely, while leaving some swimming room for the fish.
