Hi all,
I have some deep red bubble algae on one rock. When I was away for the weekend, my frogsapawn was tipped over so it was leaning against some of it. When my actinics came on this morning, I noticed that two of the algae bubbles were fluorescing a bright pink colour. Has anyone ever seen this before? Any idea what caused it? I assumed there might have been a transfer of zoanthelae from the frogspawn but I don't know if that's even possible.

It'd be sweet if the rest of it would light up like that!

are you sure the valonia is growing over with coraline?

Looks like you got a rare strain of "rudolph" bubble algae...
