I recently aquired some fuzzy mushrooms and I got one quick question from your experences what do the like to eat should I target feed them? :question:

I would suggest letting them be. If you don't want a tank full of mushrooms in a few months, don't feed them. Mushrooms tend to grow very fast, so it is better not to give them conditions they like. :eek:

Those look like green rhodactis mushrooms. They're among my favourite types.

I was target feeding them a little mysis every now and then when i was target feeding other corals in the tank.
They've gone months with and months without, they do like to spread when they're fed as bob stated
I used to feed mine pellets. I would let the pellet soak a little then place it right on the mushroom. The mushroom would then close up and eat it. Mine grew pretty fast too even when i didnt feed them.

I have never fed a mushroom either and mine still grow and multiply. I like them, they are a good filler type coral for a tank.
They are nice because you will always have something to trade.

Speeking of trading, I have a green digitata frag with an orange fuzzy shroom attached to it if anyone wants. The digitata is about 4 inches tall and the shroom is 1.5 inches across.
