Just to vouch for Danny lamps, I got one of his 7100K 13W PC lamps to replace the original one on my Eclipse 12 gallon nursery tank.

The 7100K lamp is brighter, whiter and definitely more pleasing to the eye than the 5000K lamp that it replaced.

And at $10ea, they are a cheap replacement for an existing lamp, or for a refugium light.

Hey Danny, I don't know if I could squeeze another under the Eclipse hood, and it would require me cutting or otherwise modifying it and I don't know if I want to right now considering it is a fish-only nursery tank right now for the baby Bangaiis, and not housing any corals, so there really isn't the need for any more light.

But.... I am considering replacing the two 25W incandescent tube lights over my refugium with a pair of the 13W PC lamps. The PC lamps would be much brighter and would only cost half as much to run. Maybe if you get some free time you can come by and we can figure out how to do it?

No, not from Albrite.

I had them brought in from Taiwan.
Originally, I was using them in combination with other flourescent lamps on my 33G. I just purchased a workhorse 7 and made a new lighting system.
I have one 7100K and just found out that 5 more are coming in this Sunday. What a bummer, I don't need them anymore. The 5 might be 7200K or higher?
J&L sell each lamp for $19.95 plus taxes. (special order only)
I am asking $10 each just to recover my cost.

Oh cool, I' d take a couple but I'm in vic and wouldn't eb worth shipping. I have 4 13w pc ballasts kicking around I got for free..

Between me and Danny we still have atleast 3 more 7100k 13w pc lamps left, the new batch should arrive shortly.
At this time I don't know if it is worth the effort to ship it cuz there is no profit in it @ $10/lamp; however, if I get more response I could bring more ( alot more ) in from Taiwan at a better cost.
