Anyone interested in splitting the dry Just Add Water for 5x 6 month supply of trident reagents?
If we split with 2 people, it's about 15 months supply for each party at about $200 /person.
If we split with 3 people, it's about 10 month supply of reagents for each party at about $135/ person.
Message me if interested

Those of you who brought these in, how is the stuff compared to Apex?

Is it a pain to mix the solution?

Almost as painful as making three pitchers of juice from frozen concentrate. Measure water, add reagent, mix well, repeat 2 more times with the other reagents. For some people this may be too strenuous and may prefer to pay $250 more to avoid the inconvenience. All depends on your lifestyle vs value for your time vs value of your money.

Do you have any concern about inaccuracy due to there being some potential for ratio of mix to be off?

The other thing I'm wondering is if once mixed if it stays mixed?

I'd welcome the inconvenience if there is no real change in accuracy...

I just bought a 6 month Apex pack but just found out about this other option...

Calibrating your trident to the solution batch will give the best accuracy. Since the batches are so big, you'd only need to calibrate once per batch which is probably better than once per pack from apex. The only caveat is you need to calibrate with a test kit and not a prelabeled solution like you would with apex.
I give my jug bottles a light swirl before pouring but doubtful its needed considering we never shake the bottles in the trident for the 2-3 months it's being used.
