When I was looking at my tank this morning after the lights came on, I noticed my brain coral looked a bit odd. I looked closer and realized that it had captured a snailor possibly a hermit crab and had it almost completely in its mouth. When I first spotted it, there was just a tiny bit of the shell visible in the mouth opening. It would appear it is now starting to release the shell as can be seen in the photo.

Far out, that's in the same category as Brad's valonia eating open-brain ...

It has spit out the shell and what remains of one very unfortunate blue legged hermit crab. That'll teach it to go wandering around on the corals.
