that's just insane. I was there last week when it was in the -27s and I felt like I was going to die. I hope your not a smoker. With the new smoking laws in SK there now just as bad as BC. Standing outside to have a smoke isn't fun

A balmy -28, windchill -39 as of 9 am. Dang, you folks in Manitoba always get it bad. Glad I'm not outside on Portage and Main :eek:

Nirvana, I mean the Lower Mainland, got down to -9C last night, according to the Weather Network. For you Prairie people, -9C is shorts & t-shirt weather, eh :biggrin:

Anybody having trouble keeping their tanks tropical under these circumstances?

actually the tank is the only thing near tropical in Winnipeg right now...thank god I upgraded from a 90 to a 180, I can just slip on some shorts and dive in....lol :lol:

I lived in grande prairie for 2 yrs. The damp cold, that people complain about here, is just a bunch of hooie used to elicit sympathy :lol:

well you think that is bad i did an exercise here in Manitoba and it was -75 with the wind chill. And another time -53 and i was out for a week on an exercise playing silly bugger firing a 105 mm howziter. man that was cold waiting for the orders to come over the radio.
