if you got a hawaiian yellow tang for sale, I'm interested in buying.
JL's had 44 of these for about 3-4 weeks but someone bought all of them when I went in to get one last week.
please PM me.

Wow somebody hoarded 44 hawaiian yellow tangs? Imagine 44 x $400

Go figure. I think he must have gotten the tip on WallstreetBets in Reddit

It may be related to the Hawaiian fish trade ban. Inappropriate Reefer on Youtube mentioned prices sky rocketing.

I was there the week prior and they were $140 but I wanted to make sure my QT was ready. Went back the week later and some guy had bought them all. kinda crappy. their yellow does seem brighter to me and their bellies were not pinched like the ones from elsewhere.

Some one definitely knew about the ban coming and is capitalizing on those fish.

Hopefully somewhere in Vancouver there is a crazy 800 gallon super tank with an amazing school of Yellow Tangs loving life...lol

They were successfully bred in captivity not too long ago. Hopefully we will see those soon at our LFS's with a more reasonable price.

Good luck with that... I think the worst in this hobby is on the horizon when people still buys stuffs that are grossly over priced, just because somebody put "Holy Grail" in front of every coral/fish out there??? Look at the Euphyllias.

I am thinking maybe JL should have put a limit on the number that can be purchased by one person so that others can have them as well They better be well taken care of.

Greed can bring out the worst in people. Everyone is entitled to make a buck, but people will just be priced out of this hobby. Sad.

True.2 years ago you could buy acro colony in J&l for $70.Now nub is over 100.I dont talking about high end corals, hard to source, and hard to grow exceptional colour.Just simple every day corals.Even i think about selling my small yellow Tang,if i can get what i need
