Arg, down to my last drops of BRS magnesium mix. I've been trying to get some shipped here but having issues with their website checking out to a Canadian address.

I'm looking at stuff available at JL to tide me over. Any recommendations?

Or does anyone have extra BRS for sale:)

I use ReefCrest Magnesium Part C from J&L.

https://www.jlaquatics.com/reef-crest-part-c-20oz-magnesium-mix.html

They are as good as the BRS Mag or even better as it mix well. I tried the RC bulk Mag, they are tricky to mix without any precipitants. Yeah it is weird, I'm not sure that they use the same components as the Part C. So I just use RC Mag Part C and mix it on a 1G jug, it is more money though.

Thanks for the info Crimper - I'll try it and hope it tides me over until I iron it out with BRS. So frustrating that they have the Canadian shipping option on their web but I can't make it work. I've been emailing with them and there's always a few days between replies so it's a slow slog. Take my money please!

I wish a local supplier would carry BRS additives. Seems like a fair number of local reefers use it.

Are you just using magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate from brs? JL has both in bulk.

The ReefCrest (J&L) Bulk is a PITA to mix. Not like the ReefCrest Part C.

The reefcrest part c is just pre proportioned magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate. Unless we're talking about something different.

Maggie, I use the part C from J&L without issues.
6 pairs of packs mixed into 3550ml gives me the perfect dose using the online calculator
