So I'm traveling and thinking of grabbing a couple of coral Thrusday evening but wont be home until Friday evening. Will LPS coral live in a bag for 24 hours where temps would fall to 20ish degrees? I'd just be putting them in my suitcase.

I assume it takes at least 24 hours from the wholesaler to get them to the stores but do they ship with heat packs or anything?

Thoughts?

Use an insulated lunch bag. Just try to keep the bag out of extreme weather conditions and you should be golden.

I shipped a couple of coral via Scare Canada to Alberta a year ago and as per usual they lost the shipment and it sat in Toronto for 4 days before arriving at its destination of the 6 pieces I sent 5 lived

As long as you package properly they can live quite some time

Well we'll see, I bought 3 last night at 6:00, they are in my suitcase and I should be home around 5 tonight. Hope they survive the trip...lol

Well got off the plane, checked my bag and some water leaked but for the most part the coral seem totally happy after their 24 hour journey...
