Will be moving into our new place, and it comes with a 220-gallon reef tank. The owner doesn't have time for it anymore, so he is giving it to me. Currently has a T5 light setup, and want to switch it out to LED. Been toying with the idea of building my own LED fixture or buying one from a store. It's a 32" deep tank, so not sure which LED will penetrate that deeply. Thought?

Tank Dimensions = 72" x 24" x 32" (LxWxH)

Most quality LED's will penetrate that deep. The amount of units you will need will depend on what you are growing and how much you want to spend. The great things about a deep tank is your sun loving corals are up high and your other corals are down low, create different elevation layers with different types of corals.
