Looks cool. Did you name him Patrick (like on Sponge Bob)? It looks like he's lounging in some zoanthids

Love the red linkia, can you put a blue and red together in the same tank. Thinking of getting one once the tank is up and established.

What size are they rated for to house one in.

No idea Mike ,sorry. All I hear about Linckia is how they don't last...

J&L calls this small one "Echinaster."

I have had one of those guys for a few months. Got it at Big Al's  . Every time it moved onto the glass my Flagfin knocked it down. So consequently it has been moved a few times, but it continues to hang in there.

Hey great pics as always Al. Lets us know how this mellow fellow does. How big to they get and what do they eat. Too lazy to do some research. I'm thinking of getting one. Is a 30 gal tank too small for these guys

I've seen ones that are only 1.5 inches across that you could house for a while, I've also seen ones that are 6 inches too. No idea how long it takes to get that big in captivity.

How big across is it?
Maybe 9-10 cm across when stretched out? Don't know exactly what it eats, but it is growing slowly...

Don't know about a 30gal, the two I have seen are in a 110 and a 230.
