LF: 5' x 2' piece of foam. Gvrd

Finally getting around to setting up my system.
Found out where my sump is isn't flat.
Seeing if anyone has a piece of foam kicking around,
Before I go to home Depot.

just an FYI. Foam isn't for leveling. It's there to reduce pressure points from a piece of sand or hair under flat bottom tank.

whats for leveling then? other then shims?

Well, thanks for that because my intention was to use it for levelling.

My sump is a concept aquariums sump with a piece of plywood glued to the bottom pane.

I slid the tank to where it will be situated and the concrete floor is raised right across the center width of the sump.

Should I just slide shims under?

Or is a self levelling skim coat of concrete really what's needed?

I really think a layer of self leveling concrete is over doing it. Just use shims. If you dont like wooden ones you can buy the composite ones so if they get wet they won't rot. It's just for a sump you're not putting in a new floor.

I have some shims already so I guess I'll just go that route.

The sump is 5' x 2' and trimless but with the plywood panel fixed to the bottom pane. So I was just worried about the tank sitting on shims on the edges but the center area of the tank not being supported by anything.
