Does anyone have any hands on experience converting a 1st generation MP 40 to an ecosmart or quiet drive controller? I have the first generation with the white box and find it really annoying not having night mode. I believe the switch can be done by simply removing the cover and plugging into the new ecosmart box but wasn't 100%. There's not much info online about this. One concern is the molex connector inside, the other concern would be whether the power supply would do for both. If I'm successfully able to do this I could give away my old controller to someone on here if they need it. ( I doubt it! )
