My clownfish have started to go to the top corner of my tank and smack at the surface of the water?
What is that all about

Hope this makes sense

I find that they like to do silly things. Hence, why they are clowning around. My pair often goes to the top to pop water bubbles. And they do this together as a game everyday.

As mentioned above, clownfish are very unique and their activities are random. They make for great entertainment on the natural reef and in our reef tanks.

My female clownhole has taken to lying motionless on a certain rock several times a day she will lie there for anywhere from 30 seconds to 3+ minutes before her rock lying down escapade she would swim tail up head down a few times a day she did that for almost a year.
