I've had this for years and only used it for 3-4 months.
This keeps the water pressure up throughout your RO system to improve output of RO vs waste discharge. Handy if you are on metered water system.
I have the 1/4" push in adapters already on the input and output.
Got the following from BRS website
If you hook up your RODI system and have low pressure or an issue with the amount of product water you are producing, there is a good chance are a booster pump will solve the issue. The Booster pump kit will come with everything needed to get it hooked up to your RODI system and increases the pressure feeding the system in a matter of minutes.
Benefits of maintaining higher water pressures
Improved waste water ratio
Improved membrane rejection performance
Reduced DI resin consumption
