I have a bonsai in an akward psotion for a pair of snips to get to

has anyone tried a cable/wire saw to cut corals in tank ??

like either of these ???

I've used a thin knife with a serated edge to get in and saw. Its kinda like a steak knife but with sharper teeth.

I can't see why it wouldn't work. I have seen your tank (although not recently) Ken and it is full and beautiful. About the only thing a guy might be concerned with would be initiating a rock slide.

As long as your structure is sturdy I don't see why you can't use the saw from Ebay, the amazon one looks like it can do some damage to the surroundings if you are not careful.
