So I decided to upgrade my tank only after 5 months of my 60 gal tank running.

I went out and bought a new Redsea Reefer 525 xl

This was on Saturday

So far my equipment

Reefer 525 xl
Vectra M1 return pump
2 x radion gen 2 pros
Apex controller with doser and a few other modules
Tunze osmolator ato
Kalk stirrer

Went out and bought rock from a fellow member.
Let me know what you guys think. Still outside the aquarium to make it easier.

Great start. I would create a little more of an arch on the left hand side in order to maintain some depth to the aquascaping - keep things from getting too 'linear'. The fish will like it too as they will have more to explore and swim around and through.

Liking the new tank... looks like you have a good line up of equiptment, using an ati dimmable on this with some xho reefbrites?

After hours of trying to secure rocks with cement and Failing
I decided to just aqua scape the old fashion way.

Now I need some input on what you guys think

I want to do a mixed reef with sps on top and everything else on the bottom.

Also should I go bare bottom or put sand in?

I'm sold on sand bottom  that's just my two cents. I like to look at my reef tank and see the same scale as I would when scuba diving.

Finally at 12 am I got my tank filled to where it can start to cycle.

Don't have the plumbing done for the return yet so only filled it before the overflow.

Waiting for my little heater to actually get the tank to temp.

With work being so busy I was just letting my tank cycle

Today there was no ammonia
Going to give it another week before I move over my fish first then corals.

2 chromis already swimming around feeling the new space.
2 out of the 3 lights are up and have been running for a while now.

Skimmer is waiting for me to be picked up. Nyos 220.

Will be picking up another gyre 250 pump for more flow.

Projects for next week.

1) build some sort of shelving in the chiller section for power cable and doser

2) hook up the big uv

3) wire in lighting for the sump area.

4) setup an ATO

5) move the fish over from the 60. Plus buy a few more fish that I wanted to buy.

So after a whole weekend battling with moving stuff over I fiannly have the tank up and running with all the fish in it.

I forgot how much work it is to move everything.

Looks great!! I get to move my 60 gallon to a 120 in a few weeks. Only I have to take down the old and put up the new in one day. Hope I don't loose anything. Love ur aquascape!
