Hey guys I'm just finishing acid bath and bleach wash for some rocks for my tank move going to use 80% new rock probably ( due to red mushroom infestation lol )

Anyway after the acid wash I bleached the rocks ( approx 1-12 ratio) then I rinsed them and soaked them in hose water over night and they have been sitting in the sun for 1 day , today tho they still smell a bit " bleachy"

Do I just wait? Or resoak them again or what you guys think ? I'm assuming I can't start curing till the smell goes away?

Plan is after this to cure them in the garage for a month before the move

Thanks

I would rinse a few times with the hose and then soak in RO for a day or two. Then start the curing process.

Ah ok thanks, and dont start till the smell is gone you think?

Also i remember reading somewhere saying Prime to pull the ammonia in the water is that a thing or just be patient?
