So I seem to have started a tank journal in the nano tank talk so I thought I would bring it all over here.

So I getting back into the hobby again after the move, and setting up my old biocube, but this time I wanted to do it once and be happy with it! So I decided on running led's, I found a diy rapid dimmable led kit, so I installed all that, picked up a bluefish controller, as well as a steves media basket and fuge. And a couple of nano power heads. I'm trying to do this on the cheep and do it once, it's hard to find the right deals on the equipment but eventually it happens.

It took me almost 2 months to get this far in the equipment collecting, and I'm missing a couple bits, but either I'll pick up new or if I'm lucky I'll find used. Still looking for a couple heaters but they are cheep to buy, and still on the fence if I need a chiller. The same goes with a skimmer, I can remove the fuge basket and it opens up a "lot" of choices for a skimmer, or I find a aquaticlife 115 mini for the first chamber, and keep the fuge.

What is better a fuge or skimmer?

As of right now I'm filling the tank up with fresh saltwater, so hopefully before I'm on shift I'll have it up and cycling so I can start looking at getting some livestock.

Speaking of livestock, I'm not sure what I'm going to go with, fish wise or coral wise. With leds I can pretty much have whatever I want coral wise, and I'll stay with the smaller fish.

I'll try and get some pictures up once it's full of water and had a chance to clear up.
