Reading other forums seems that computers or cameras may used the same power supply as our Vortech Mp40s. Anybody know more about this?

If you have an old spare lying around pm me 😄

I'm sure it's just a 110vAC to 12vDC adapter, should be readily available

That is what I was thinking. Just don't know anyone who has sourced one or how to search for the right one.

Any power supply that provides 24 Volts DC & 2.5 amps will do the trick. That's a 60 watt supply for a 40 watt rated pump, a little extra head room. Any supply of that rating or larger is fine. Also need to ensure the DC plug that goes into the controller is the proper size & polarity. All the specs are on the bottom of the EcoTech branded power supply.

I located a power supply at Qualle Electronics in Victoria. About 1/2 the price of a Vortech replacement. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
