I got a strange looking hitch hiker coral growing on the edge of my chalice about 6 months after my tank crash. I believe it's maybe an lps since it has skeleton structure like ducan or torch coral. It also takes reef roid when i tried to spot feed it. I first notice it in the edge of my half dead chalice; it looked like a small polyp about 2mm in diameter. It is now about 3 months since i noticed it and already have skeleton like an lps and about 3/8 of an inch. Cool thing is i just noticed this morning that there are 3 tiny polyps like it growing in the same area on the half dead chalice. Appreciate any inp ut to ID this cool little thing folks.

The first picture might be some sort of "glass anemone".

First pic is the coral when i first notice. Second pic is what it grows into. Third pic is when its tentacles retracted. I also see more polyps like the first pic growing

Ah gotcha, the 3 pics are showing it's growth...

In that case you have baby plate corals!

Nice hitchhikers!
