Is the crab a greenish colour? If it is it could possibly be a emerald, from the pics it looks similar as emeralds can get hairs on legs and body.

I would sump it, or another alternative...
The claws don't look big enough to be an emerald

Spoon shaped claws indicate some type mithrax crab (emerald crabs are part of the family ) . I got a whole bunch of them from some liverock and they got to a decent size but where model citizens .

I would sump it, better to be safe than sorry.. I learnt that the hard way with a hitchhiker crab and lost a royal gramma.

I think Female emeralds have smaller claws than males. Hard to ID without better pics. I had an unknown that came on liverock years ago and was a great freeby untill zoas began to diappear.

Agreed.
In addition, only male Mithrax crabs get large claws. Females stay small.
