I posted here before about a huge worm-like thing that came along with 60lbs of fiji that I got on that bg J&L order that Josh did. There's this one big one and I've been finding a whole bunch of little ones that stick out of holes in the rock. What is this thing and is it good or bad for the tank? I kind of just want to get rid of it, it creeps me out!

I can't just post the picture, it's a long story, but if you copy and paste this address into your address bar it should work, it did for me anyway when I tried it. In the picture the side on the left is the front of the worm, it has a little mouth-like thing on the end (looks like the end of an elephant's trunk.)

Thank you for the idea teevee, it has been posted in the gallery: http://www.canreef.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=1315

The worm died last night, it got stuck on the filter intake tube. But I found another big one that looks just like the one in the picture, and this morning I counted 12 little worms coming out of holes in the rock. I have no idea what to do about them, there're popping up all over my tank!

Looks to me like a peanut worm. They live in the rock, hardly ever see them during the day and they are good to have

What do these peanut worms do? It seems they dig holes in the rock, is that correct? I'm afraid that they'll drill some many holes in my rock that the rock will end up falling apart!
