Well i am moving my 55g into a 140g soon. Most the work is done just need to tie up some loose ends.

A CanReef member helped me with the plumbing. Without him it would most likely have been some flex tube and duct tape. Thanks Matt you really tought me alot about plumbing. I owe ya big time!.

This is my closed loop. 1 intake and 3 outlets. My return come in where the intake is so i have flow from all four corners of the tank. ball valves and unions were put where needed for cleaning and removal of parts.

Here is the closed loop and return pumps:

This is my first set of durso's. Prety easy to do.

Lighting:

The lighting is made up of 2x 250w MH with 10k bullbs and 1x 175w MH with 10k bulb. Also has 4 VHO with super actinic running off a icecap 660.

Tank by the way is 60x18x30 acrylic

All 4 ballast are enclosed in a fan cooled and wired case that site hbehind/beside the stand keeping all heat away from the tank. The case has a power switch for each set of lights as well. Green is for the MH and red is the VHO's

Once we get the rest of the plumbing done and the skimmer is made and in my hands i will post more. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks!!!

What did you use for the ballast box? That is indeed nice work.

I WISH i had the skill to do the light box. I however dont. Wendal/Jack would have better info that I would on that one as i got it from them. Its a peice of art tho. They guy that put it together did amazing work and took his time to do it right.
