Shutting down a QT tonight
1 piece of rock about 9x5x5
Lots of pods and coralline, some green palys, aiptasia, lettuce and bubble algae --- and something that likes to kill fish ... either a nasty strain of MI, or possibly Velvet.
Not sure at this point

Either way, it's going in the recycling bin tomorrow night unless someone wants to throw it in a tub of water for a bunch of months to save the pods and algae and let the nastier stuff die off.

Not surprised nobody wants it ... just thought I'd throw it out there in case someone wanted some seeded live rock for a future project

Anyway, it's going in the compost bin tomorrow as I'm too tired tonight to deal with it

Why not just dry it out - everything will die & then reseed it ?

Whatever is bad will be gone ....

Others had the option to do just that ..

I grew tired dealing with it, gave others the option, then threw it out

If you'd been through what I've been through this year, you would have tossed it out too :surprise:
