Does anyone happen to have a 1 1/2" (preferably unused) gate valve to sell? Trying not to have to pay $68+

They carry the same ones as JL, spears I think, I'd be surprised if they're not the supplier for JL because when I called last they said they had ten but they were on hold for a sale, but another location had it.

Corix and EMCO deal with the same Spears gate valves, and pricing will be similar if not exactly equal between the two of them (and most likely the lowest of any companies as they're by far the two largest distributors in B.C.

The only options for lower pricing are contractor or municipal accounts, but either of them should be able to just clear you as a self-contractor. Warren in shipping at EMCO in Langley, or David at the Coquitlam Corix counter location would be who I would try.

Thx daplatapus; I should have mentioned that I would prefer a slip-slip.

That's easy to remedy with a couple $2 male thread to female slip adapters.

Yup, can't tell you how many times I've either had to re-configure piping or made a mistake and had to throw stuff out. I never buy slip/slip valves anymore.

Same here. Only time would be with space constraints.
Pretty expensive one-time-use if you fudge the plumbing.
