I have a rock with a bunch of little bubble algae on it I haven't put it in my tank yet.... should I break all of them off first before I put it in (ie: in the sink) or will it be ok??

If you want a plague of the stuff put the rock in. Other wise I would take them all of before putting in the rock. Once they get established they can be a real pain to get ride of.

This is what I did I plucked them off with tweezers and scrubbed the spot were they were with a boiling hot toothbrush and rinsed it all down the drain with saltwater, then a placed the rock in a bright spot in the tank.
Think It'll work??
Is an emerald crab a good invest?? Reef safe??

If you remove all the bubbles, you should be ok. The debate is still out on emeralds, if they are reef safe or not, everyone has there own opinion. I had them in my reef tank and had no problem. I also have a silfin tang that eats my bubble algae, but that was lucky.
