is it just me or does anyone else enjoy building and setting up your systems as much as keeping fish and corals? I seem to like the challenge of making the systems and after a year or two I normally tear one tank down and start another project. plus it gives me a little alone time in the garage to drink some beer and build stuff

Very very common. I did the same thing for years. I finally just did my permanent system, but that still hasn't stopped me from making other random systems on the side.

I love designing and putting together plumbing.

Just finished a new build: 150 gal dt, 75 gal refug, 40 gal sump, 20 gal top off. Cycling right now. Will post pics soon.

Have to borrow my husband's camera and get him to help me (away right now). I am pathetic at photography.

I used to with my sw systems but have kept the same 93g cube & 6' display for a while now. No more room or $$ to keep changing my reef tanks around but I have a 93g cube for a new fancy goldfish tank to replace my existing 60g cube fw. Blew out my knee a month ago otherwise the tank would have already been switched out.

cool I have not researched ozone in the aquarium much but I do know that we used to run it in all pools I have worked at but every modern system uses u.v because its much less maintenance and its compact in size

I'm using it purely to clarify the water by breaking down the larger organic molecules in the water. That's all. In high enough concentrations (+650mV) it can be a sterilizing agent. We use it in our hot tub with great results!
