Hi everyone. I was just cruising around the net and stumbled upon this site. I'm from Vancouver and I just set up my first reef since November. I started it on impulse and it was supposed to be a cheap nano reef project. Well, 4 months later here I am with a tank 3 times bigger than I expected, costing me 10 times more than I originally anticipated, causing me 5 times more work than I thought it would...and enjoying it 100 times more than I ever thought I would!

Just thought I'd say hi :D

Hopefully I'll be able to attend a meet in the future. The only people I've been able to talk to locally have been at the local shops.

Hey, welcome to the board!
It sounds like you had the same idea as I had and ended up with the same situation. Fun isn't it. Frustrating at times but mostly fun. The guys and gals here are a great resource and fun to chat with. We're having a meeting on the 24th if you can make it!

Racing, Reefing, and Snakes...Those 3 hobbies take up most of my time and money. Well, that and my girlfriend ;)
