Got some frags from this lovely coral available:

Looking for $40. Frags are about 3/4" right now (not fully expanded yet) and partially attached to some rubble. Limited quantities. I'm coming into town tomorrow evening if anyone wants to meet up.

Also have this stuff available:

Acropora turaki - $15

If you want multiple frags, make me an offer :D

I have a good sized colony of that same chalice, and I can't seem to make it happy - any lighting/flow/food suggestions? The parameters in the tank are good, and everything else is thriving!

Not that I've seen... Ive moved it to a more observable location, and will be watching carefully.

Thank for the response :-)

Hey Corey,

Didn't know you were still around man!

I can ship, no prob, but it's a bit pricey for two frags ($45ish).

LMK if you're still interested/have friends (Cody? lol)

How would you describe the appearance of the coral? Do the skeletal ridges show? Is it losing tissue or discolored?

Um... All of the above? :-(

A bit different than mine, but that's besides the point.

How long have you had it for? How long has the skeletal ridge been showing/receding?

History is unknown - I assumed the guy I got it from had gotten it from you :-). I've been searching for a match for a while, and when I saw your post, it looked far more similar than anything id seen... and since the original owner of my tank said that he got lots of stuff from you - I thought it was a match.

The chalice seemed to be in fair shape when I unburied it from the hair algae forest in January... But has slowly receded since. I'd say at least a month of clear skeletal visibility. It started out with one white edge... Then progressed to this.

Hmm, I don't believe this particular piece is from me (but I could be wrong). In any case, hair algae growing on exposed skeleton can be pretty rough on corals. I find the recovery time of chalices to be especially slow. From what I can tell, the remaining tissue looks healthy. I'd try to go for some feeding over the next while and see how it turns out from there.

Albert,

I'll be driving to the GVRD area on the week of April 25th.
I'd be interested in the Dragon Eyes zoas. Will you be around
mid-week (or so) for pickup? BTW, I'm also going to try and
hookup with gregzz4 for some frags.

Cheers,
-Benoit

Not sure what frags you're looking for Ben, but my tank leaked last month, so most of my corals are either dead or just enough for me to restart.
LMK what you are looking for and I'll tell you who bought some from me

Howdy! I'll be around :)

Albert: Thanks for the note, I'll shoot a PM when closer to that week.

Greg: The news of that leak really sucks - and it doesn't take much, I know.
If you lost the nice hammer that you had, I'll bring you a frag down the road.

Cheers,
-Benoit
