We've got the same machine at work, youre gonna like it alot, you'll be amazed at what it can do when you figure it out.

i can tig stainless and mild steel, never tried aluminium so thats my new thing to learn, i find the high frequency is like day and night tho when it comes to weld quality

tried tig welding aluminium, seems pretty easy. My welds arnt consistent by any means but id guess that comes with time and not standing up while using a foot pedal...

Yep, get a comfy stool and it'll go alot smoother.
Im sure you know, but make sure you got some good ventilation....
Dont want to be breathing in those fumes.

Pretty much why I quit being a welder.

im not a "welder" really

ive done more welding in the 15 minutes i played around with my new tig welder than i have at work in a month (excluding on site welding)

i mainly fabricate, fix stuff, assemble stuff, fix stuff, do installs (minimal welding), fix stuff, and fix stuff
