Bert and Ernie are seven years old this month.

Looking at the tank journal and just realized these clowns are in grade two already.

Happy Birthday to your beautiful clowns. They look very happy and healthy. I think my oldest fish is my Marine Betta, which I've had for about 7 years and was bought from someone who had it for a few years already. Have no dates so I can't celebrate its birthday unfortunately:cry:

They grow up so fast ! One minute they are playing gleefully in an anemone, the next minute they have a sex change and start reproducing. So clearly you didn't have *that* talk with these two huh?

No seriously I just thought they were doing what two dudes naturally do in lockup. Then Bert got fat and in my concern got busy reading and to my horror discovered the vagaries of clown reproduction...

GIVING MYSELF A SHAKE.... I saw & even posted on this thread a couple days ago, but I then this morning I stopped to pick up some coral frags offered & he mentioned his 7 year old clownfish...... I just checked the OP..... I met Bert-ha & Ernie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

They are very beautiful Clownfish & their tank is being revitalized very nicely!!!! Soapy tell them their coral buddy's have 2 baby clownfish to feed them named Lil'Nemo & Bubbles & a Yellow Goby! in the attached picture if you look in the bottom middle there's a gap in the rock? You'll see Goby peaking thru.

The last couple of months we have been overhauling and upgrading the tank. Apparently all the work is starting to pay off, the boys are happy again and Burt laid eggs today. They spawned a lot for a while and then quit when the tank started to slide downhill.
