My son went to see it yesterday (got his tickets several months ago), and said it was good. But says it is a good idea to watch #6 again, as the story carries on from that one. We'll wait for the crowds to die down a bit and then go see it.

Watched it last night at the Langley IMAX. Good movie, better than the garbage prequels but didn't blow my socks off either. Worth a ticket I guess, it'll satisfy most of the fanboys and casuals alike.

You bet, Spike Lee..makes his usually cameo as in past movies. This one is funny, he's a hot dog vender outside a club in an interstellar red light district. It's tied in with Cheweys love child...better stop now, don't want to spoil it anymore than I have.

Saw it saturday morning at the Edmonton IMAX... I enjoyed it immensely, so did my 7yr old... My wife who is not a fan of the series enjoyed it as well...

I saw it last night. I was a little dissapointed. It was a good movie on its own but just too many similarities to #4. The story continues from #6, but it kind of felt like a reboot of #4 as well.

My Christmas gift to myself is seeing Star Wars in IMAX Christmas Day even if it is a complete bomb I am still going to feel like I am eight again .

That's what I'm saying. My kid has got a couple as gifts, and I watched Disney on TV when I was a kid. Never seen one in a theatre or rented one. I think I've gone to a theatre maybe 4 times in my life, no Disney stuff :)

I did see the original star wars in theatre, but that was my mommy's money :)
