mushrooms are starting to get ridiculous.over-growing on my montiporas and other corals and cause those areas to die off.what stops mushrooms??does anything eat them or is there a easy to pic them off or rocks way that im not aware of.inject them with something?Any help would be AWSOME

I don't think there is anything that will eat them but they will kill any sps that they touch . They are a great starter coral-nem one of the first corals that most new reefers try .They look nice grow fast and are cheap But soon regrettable . I have had success controlling them injecting them with aiptasia x . Good luck

In tank fix? Aiptasia-x (kalk powder+little bit of water). Put it on the mouth.

Aptaisia x doesnt always work. I had a green rhodactis mushroom overgrowing and killing a sps coral. Injected it twice with aptaisia x. It turned white and shrivelled for a month but then came back just as strong as ever.

I got about 250 lbs of rock for $80 but it is loaded with mushrooms.maybe I should just kill the rock that's got alot on it
