http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a171/tyty_220/IMG_4192_zpsnse45e8w.jpg

Step 2: Over skim the crap out of your tank

Step 3: wait for concrete on new rock structure to dry

Step 4: Make pot of coffee, drink whole pot

Step 5: Drain all of water out of tank into sump (i dont have enough water mixed), and put all fish, corals, inverts and crap into sump

Step 6: Remove Existing rock structure and throw into back yard

Step 7: Clean the crap out of the tank (remove every spec of hair algae)

Step 8: Dump 5L of Hydrogen peroxide into frag table and let sit for 10 minutes (only zoas and mushrooms in there atm)

Step 9: Drain 100% of water from frag table

Step 10: Make more coffee

Step 11: Fill tank back up and remount all coral + whatever else i feel like throwing in there

the culprit

dont know what kind of wrasse it is but it will eat flatworms, nudis, hermits, crabs, asterina stars, those wierd mini abalone looking snails, any food, and will follow your hand around waiting for you to pick up frags so it can inspect them

best pest control ever

ignore the mess of frags and colonies everywhere.... part of my cleaning process

The fish in the picture is a Plesiops coeruleolineatus
worst aquarium fish ever, you will never see it, i have had it for about 2 years, i only see it when i drain the tank and pull all the rock out

so now i get to see if a hammer will survive a hot coffee dip... while cutting it off the rock it flew across the room and landed in my cup of coffee.... quickly dumped it out into a bucket of water and rinsed it off, we'll see if it survives

ill be adding the rest of the corals back once the rabbit fish cleans them up

before anyone says something about a hippo tang in a 40g, hes stunted, hes been that size for 3 years (before i had him), he wont grow any bigger

Myka
10-12-2015, 07:45 PM
That's a 40-gallon? I didn't read that part, it looks bigger with the structure (and the old one),m but now I look at the stuff around the tank and the size of the fish it makes sense now. It sure looks better now!

But how did the coffee taste afterwards?

Maybe you can sell the recipe to Starbucks.
