This is going to take a long time for me to get off the ground.
Even though it a midsize tank I plan on putting all the bells and whistles on this tank.
Im hoping that ecotech comes out with a new skimmer by next year

The bare bones.
I want to add a lot more Neptune products to my tank. I should have bought this years ago. Got by with just a reef keeper

Tunze is adding DC to its 9012 skimmer
I think I am going to go Tunze for this tank. Never had one of there skimmers but I know its quite. Its a nice fit for the tank.

Id go with the red/white 22. It'll be easier to see any detritus build-ups that need cleaning. Plus I think the red/white looks pretty sharp! I think it's win win whichever way you go. :D

Red and white looks classier , so depends what look you want . Radioactive glow or subtle look . Are you using any vertex equipment ?

Sumps
I was thinking of getting the red and white but asking them to make it orange so I could use orange pvc pipe. Also I do already own a green ato that's why I thought to go with the green sump. Also the tunze skimmer is also black.
Here is another tank that went with the green looks sharp still

Very cool looking Sumps. I'd love one myself in Green/Black. But not sure if that company ships to Canada.

Is the idea to replace your current tank? Wondering why bother upsizing only 15 gals?

Actually my current tank is a 90 marineland but only holds about 85 gallons. My parents don't want me to get a bigger tank. My marine land is an embarresment considering how much I am into reef tanks. The stand is all rusty and falling apart.

Hmmm... maybe I should change your other tank build name to 'Johns 90gal' then. Lol.

Those sumps are very pretty, but overpriced IMHO.

Here is the tank. I think im going to have to buy a monteray stand for it.

The tank looks awesome! The single piece of black acrylic is very snazzy! Just make sure you never take a metal scraper blade to it, it will scratch. The softer green bristle pads work just as well.

Finally got the tank

Now I just have to decide and the kind of stand I want. I really don't know what I am going to do. Miracles dropped off the tank but diden't carry anything into the house. The tank feels real heavy the glass thickness is a lot thicker then my current tank

Thats the stand I got for my 48x20x20. They did an incredible job! You'll love it. Just make sure to paint the inside with a Kilz to waterproof it, i'd do the doors to as any serious splashing will eventually damage the hardwoord.

Got the stand they painted black I told them to stain it
I asked for a stand without a centre brace. They did not listen to me again

Duckhams

The centre brace is probably removable, though im not sure i'd recommend it long term. I personally think the black looks sharp, and it puts the attention on the corals/fish instead of the stand. But I totally understand your disappointment.

Got a new skimmer. Im much happier with the reef octopus compared to the omega.
Im starting to get together the controller just bought a Eb32 looking to pick up the neptune next month.
I've started dosing bacteria to the new tank everything is stable in the old tank
Looking to switch over once I get my controller and circulation and new lighting I am going t5 with some E5 leds
Im hoping Ray at reef supplies will feature my tank in the customer tanks when he gets that started.

Man Im going to be so sad if stuff starts dying. The polyps are all out for now but, I've never found that to be a good sign of things to come. The tank cycled for months maybe it would have been smarter to keep it a fish only for a while but I did not want to run two tanks because of electricity.
Got some acans coming from bayside aquatics tomarrow.
Oh I bought the t5 fixture from Big Show.
The tank really needs a chiller but my fuses went out and im waiting on the replacments ones for the past two weeks
A snail died in my other tank and started a algae outbreak that lasted a month just found the sucker yesterday what a disaster

Is that your biopellet reactor output feeding straight into the ozone port of the skimmer?

Bugger

No its a co2 reactor keeps the ph stable with two part at around 8-8.1.
Its to cold to keep windows open right now
