Just bought for $62.50 + GST only to find out it dosnt work on shallow tanks. Literally used once and then dried and out back in the box. Comes with everything as its brand new. Great tool for cleaning substrate beds.

How much of it needs to be submerged? How shallow are we talking?

Well...it says the minimum deapth of 12"

The tank I wanted to use it on was 12", so i'd say like 14-16+ would be best
