Hi, ordering 72"x30"x24"H tank . Was originally thinking evergrow lights but another option is Kessil.
The Kessil's aren't that much more $ . Thinking I would need 3 . Worried about, will it light the 30" wide tank ???
Also is there much light leakage or is it all focused into the tank ?
How do you find the sps growth ?
Any other info would be appreciated .
Thanks Mark

defiantly go kessil imo, 3 would probably be fine Im running 2 x a360w on a 48x48x20 cube and it has some light spill . the w has a pretty big coverage zone .

I'm a kessil fan. I'm using 2x 360we over my 48x20x20 and had the intensity at 85 - things weren't happy and I've just pulled the 2x down to 70 - i think 70 or 75 will be my sweet spot..... Maybe even 65.

I want to use 3x for the added light source and will just decrease the intensity to 55 or 60.....

Just remember that LEDs are directional light - regardless of the angle of the lens below the diode.

personally I prefer the pendant style I have them hanging from my roof , the pendants are much cleaner than that fixture .

Thanks for the input . What is selling me is : small & compact , the shimmer it produces . Seems like a quality light w/controller at a competitive price .
