Guidelines For Posting Items in the Canreef Buy/Sell Forums
Effective November 29th, 2015.
Updated February 25th, 2020
All classifieds ads require the following information:
- Location (in the thread title, within the ad, or in the seller’s profile)
- Price (exceptions: For Free [FF], For Trade [FT] or Looking For [LF])
- Must be aquarium related
- Group items together in one thread, and use the same thread to update (make 1 thread for several items, not several threads for one item).
- Links to other classified web sites (Kijiji, etc) will not be permitted.
Canreef encourages auctions and trading.
Please make use of the Canreef Auction forums! We also highly recommend trading frags with other members!
Classified ads are not a place for discussions.
Please use PM's to price negotiate. Don’t post your dislike of the pricing in someone’s thread. If you don’t like the price, don’t buy it – no need to discuss. :)
Payments.
Canreef makes no guarantees or warranties in regards to classified ads. You use this free service at your own risk . Do not give your bank account number out anyone. This leaves you and your money at risk for both money theft and identity theft. There are many other ways to make and receive a payment including email money transfer (EMT), PayPal, money order, cheque, etc. If you do have a payment or delivery issue with a member, PLEASE REPORT IT to any Canreef Staff member before publicly posting.
