View Full Version : Best place to buy kessil led or AI hydra

Hi,

I'm just getting back into this hobby and have been out of the loop for quite some time now. I am hoping to pick up a new led fixture soon and was wondering where is the best place to purchase from? Looking at either an AI hydra or maybe a Kessil 360. Is there some place local? Or is my best bet to order from JL?

i am picking up my 2 Kessil A160WE's from j&L. by the time you add in shipping, i believe they will still be cheaper. I would also like to support my LFS as much as possible. I am very new to the hobby and the few visits i have had to j&l have been great. In most cases even if its more expensive to buy local i will.

you can get a kessil a360w or n eseries at picses and they price matched me for J&L I got it for $429 . They have a bunch there now and I think they have a160's as well .

Nothing against Pisces. I would go to Concept aquariums first. Then ocean creation, then golds.
I think the little LFS are better then the big guys with information for your request.

don't' get me wrong I don't like buying anything from them , but they are the only store that stocks kessil .

I was at wais two days ago and he has plenty of both of those lights and lots of others if you want to see them first hand before buying

Wai's does not sell the a360's went there to pick one up . Ended up at pisces . So pisces is still the only store that stocks kessil
