figured id post up some recent pics of my feather starfish, they were ordered by accident and this one was the lone survivor out of 26

it started out from healthy and like all feather stars it started falling apart. after a few weeks it mysteriously started to regrow its legs and fully recovered

due to recent events it is no longer alive and i dont intend to get a new one as they just dont do good in captivity

i kept one for a year and a half feeding various live phytos and rotifers.unfortunately nobody knows what they truly eat.i might rescue one again when i try live spiralina

Wow, beauty specimen
Would be nice to see something similar thrive in a home tank

Crinoids are awesome...

I was just reading up about them in Coral magazine.

Sucks the most when you lose something like this that you have sort of seen go through the ringer and survive in the past.
