I know this is short notice but I think this time Christain is coming through:
As many of you know, I do occasional bulk orders of freshwater mysid shrimp from www.mysis.com . I have an order coming in this week, and after I fulfill my pre-orders, should have 20-30 8oz flats of frozen mysis shrimp available for sale. The price is a little more this time, as the company increased its prices due to the sagging US dollar, so the price is now $5.80/flat.
G. A. Christian Bilou

Our order would form the pre-order bit...

I plan to get this on Saturday morning and was thinking...I could get some beer and I have the afternoon free.

Anybody up for that?

I'm most certain that some swapping will happen. I'll post directions later this week (when i have a firm ship date).

I was talking with Christian today at the shop. He explained to me that the delay was in part due to a retarded shipping proceedure that involves a backtrack to Vancouver before heading out to Calgary.

Maybe this one then?

North on Stoney Trail, right on Scenic Acres Link, left at the 3-way, then a right, and straight thru onto the little bay. Piece of cake.

It is not nice to call people scallywags. But then you didn't really, did you

AJ_77

It's a variant of the more common usage, Bob_I_Am...
I guess I could have used rascals.

scallywag

n 1: white Southerner supporting Reconstruction policies after the Civil War usually for self-interest [syn: scalawag] 2: a deceitful and unreliable scoundrel [syn: rogue, knave, rascal, rapscallion, scalawag, varlet] 3: one who is playfully mischievous [syn: imp, scamp, monkey, rascal, rapscallion, scalawag]
Anyways, I want to know if more of the people on the Mysis Order List are planning to be at Ross's tomorrow. Ross may think enough are coming already, though...

I have the final confirmation from Christian -so it is a go for sure tomorrow. I will have the beer on ice at 1:30 and there will be all the Mysis you can eat.

I have 200 packages in total - 100 large and 100 small. Of these there are dibs on about 1/2.

see you tomorrow

See ya there, Will! I guess you probably subscribed to this thread, huh?

Ross, is this an open-house kind of afternoon, or do you want us there as close to 1:30 as we can?

any time is fine...I'll pick some beer up in the morning and when you get here ...I'll give you one.

I just got through stuffing 200 bags of MYSIS into my little freezer. Holly crap is that ever a lot of food. If I ever hope to see the bottom of the freezer again ... I have to sell quite a few bags of mysis tomorrow

Of course the polite thing to do is not make this a month long thing for you Ross, since you have done your part and then some.

Hopefully everyone will pick up so you can be done with this. If anyone needs some temp storage and can arrange to pay Ross, I have freezer room.

Very unhappy to say I won't be able to make it Saturday, I have to work.
Might be able to make my way over at the end of the day. What time is everyone showing up?

Ross, you have PM.
