I need some info on RO/DI units before I purchase one. Anyone know if it is safe to drink or do you have to use a "T" before the DI filter for drinking water? I ask because I have read both. Other question, do you have to add anything to the water for trace elements or will the aquarium salt be enough?
Thanks

I've been drinking from the DI output for 2 years, and I'm fine.
For the tank, just the salt is all you'll need.

I "T" off befor my DI filter for drinking water only to make my DI filter last longer. plus I find DI water has a dry taste to it. anyone that has told you that DI is not safe to drink is basing that on wives tails and nothing more.
