jUST BILT MYSELF A VENTURI SKIMMER, WORKS GREAT, LOTS OF SKIMMATE, UNBELIEVABLY LOUD THOUGH. ANY IDEAS HOW TO MAKE IT MORE QUIET?

Loud as in pump vibrates loud or loud as in air sucking in loud? If the pump vibrates, put it on some foam to dampen the noise. If its air sucking in loud, put a muffler of some sort at the suction end of the air intake hose (like an airstone or something).
