View Full Version : first time I beat you guys...
...to Golds for an acro  Except for the 10 other people who got there before me. Here's what I bagged,

Actinics kind of messed up the pic. The tips are actually kind of pink/red under my lights. No acro crab :frown: Any pics of what was there before me?

Alan,
There was about 20-30 new sps when I was there. I'm kind of curious as to what these latest Bali acro color up too. They are probably propagated near the water surface.

Ok just a warning if this shipment came from the same orgin and the same time as the ones out here... Ie. friday nightish, check your acros over real good, I got two one with a good acro crab and one with a bad acro crab. I watched one eat 1/2 of a polyp befor I got him out of the coral and gave him the royal flush.
just shows we need to check our corals over real good as I missed this guy untill two days laiter.
Steve
Thanks for the heads up Steve.
Now I'm getting paranoid. I think there is at least 10 acro crabs in various pieces in my tank. I'm familiar with what the good guys look like yet not sure about the typical trouble makers found in acros. Have you come across any pics or threads on unwanted varieties. Pretty tough to get a photo.

mine was harry and had black little eyes, not the white smooth with a black mask we are used to seeing.
Steve
All I could find was the crabs with the typical black "Zoro" mask
I'll just leave them at peace.
Thanks
