Well my neglected tank has been sitting almost untouched for the last 2 or 3 months.. All I have done is feed the fish, top off the RO container and do the occational water change. Anyways, almost all my problems are going away on their own. No more nasty turf-like algae, the flatworm population is down to next to nothing on its own (I was hesitant to treat with F.E. but now I will do it). coralline is going nuts, also the few corals that have sat in the tank have grown and coloured up more then ever. I may even be ready to add a few things.

Anyways, just thought I'd let you guys know I'm still hanging in there. I will post a pic some time soon.

Wow, you've found your groove!

What will you call your new reefing 'discipline'?

Less is more.

Maybe it was just a matter of letting the tank stabilize?

yes I think "less is more" sounds about right.. I beleive I had too much rock in the tank before and it was blocking circulation and allowing ditritus to build up. I used to think more rock meant more natural filtration, but I am starting to think otherwise.
