If you read the actual proposed laws, the blatant hypocrisy is almost sickening.

First, they propose three different laws that would contradict/negate each other entirely if all were passed (throwing %#@& at a wall & seeing what sticks, I guess), second, "sport" fishing and "religious" uses get a free and total pass.

Holding a half inch blenny in less than a gallon of water - a horrible sin worthy of severe penalty. Hooking a mahi mahi through the mouth with a massive hook, reeling it in to a boat as it fights desperately for its life, posing for a sweet instagram picture with the dying, terrified animal, then brutally murdering it - totally cool.
